Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Required 3.0 GPA
- Four prerequisite courses in Behavioral Science
- Three letters of recommendation
- An interview with department faculty
- Personal statement
Admission is based upon indicators of the applicant's potential for becoming an effective counseling practitioner. Admission is not based upon any single factor but on a composite assessment of all factors.

Application Period
New applicants are only accepted for the Spring term every other year (classes begin in January). The application period begins August 1st.
Registration
Once students are notified and accepted into the program, they will register in late November (payment due at time of registration) for the first semester.
Tuition
Tuition is currently $425 per unit. Textbooks and other instructional materials must be purchased separately. There is no parking fee at the Garden Grove facility. Costs are subject to change. Financial aid options are available.

Student Handbook
Upon admission to the program, students will receive registration information for all courses and a Student Handbook. Registration, payment of fees, and all other student services will be processed through University Extended Education.
