Applied C++ Programming

Course Information

This intense eight-session course will build on the advanced skills in order for students to develop in-depth skill in exception handling and generic programming using common patterns, including policy-based design and multi-threaded concurrency. Topics include: patterns, templates, policy-based class design, runtime type identification (dynamic cast, type id) concurrency, multi-tasking overview, multi-threaded design concepts, "What's New?" in C++ as well as the Boost Library.
