Masters Degree Program

Eligibility

Students are admitted each Fall – the application period opens October 1st and continues through January 31st. New students are required to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 semester or 90 quarter units
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Paid, volunteer, or internship experience relevant to social welfare
  • Personal statement
  • Interview with admissions committee

No info sessions are scheduled at this time.

Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2014. Submit your application prior to 1/31/14.

Tuition is currently $425 per unit. Textbooks, parking and other instructional materials must be purchased separately. The MSW Flex program is exclusively self-supported by student fees. Since the program does not receive state funding, fees are slightly higher than the MSW program on the Fullerton campus. *Costs/Fees are subject to change.


Financial Aid

Federal financial aid is available Click here for details. Since the MSW Flex program is not supported by state funds, students admitted to this program are not eligible for State University Grants, Cal Grants or graduate Equity Fellowship Grants.
