Course Number: SART 7288 (3.00 CEUs/30 Hours)
In the last course, students will conduct usability testing sessions with their direct audience. Students will observe users as they navigate their prototype and attempt to complete reasonable tasks. Then, students will address their usability findings to identify the issues and work toward solutions. Students will prioritize the design improvements that need to take place and communicate them as if they were working on an agile development team. Then, students will complete the high priority design improvements for a finalized digital product design. They will organize all deliverables of their main course project into a comprehensive case study to add to their UX/UI design portfolio. The case study will show how students think, adapt, cooperate, and ultimately solve challenges. Finally, students will practice their public speaking skills and UX/UI Design knowledge by presenting their digital product to industry professionals.
