Examples of life-threatening emergencies include personal injury, automobile accident, missing persons, suicidal/homicidal thoughts, natural disasters (wind, flood, etc.), security threat, sexual assault, violence.
- After you receive assistance, notify ISS. Do not call 911 for immigration-related questions.
Examples of immigration-related emergencies include loss of passport or other important documents while overseas, problems at U.S. Port of Entry, immediate threat of deportation from the U.S.
- Call CSUF Police Department at (657) 278-4308. Explain your situation and the respondent will transfer your call to the appropriate person to assist you.
Please note: The need for a travel signature on immigration I-20/DS-2019 documents is not an emergency. Please see below on how to resolve the issue.
