Course Number: SECS 6803 (1.8 CEUs/18 Hours)
In order to effect skillful execution of a design solution, Customer/User Experience practitioners must learn to apply theory and technique at the earliest stages of design exploration. In this course, students will focus on the practical application of user-centered design principles to the business world and how they can be incorporated into the product development lifecycle. Students will also participate in a goal mapping exercise to create a common understanding of both user and business needs. Additionally, students will build upon key concepts and methods and apply important hands-on wireframing and prototyping methods using real-world tools and techniques. The focus of this course is to provide individuals with demonstrable skills and solid understanding of the prototyping process.
