Academic Programs
Titan Youth Programs’ academic classes are developed for children and teenagers, from grade three through high school. Taught by experienced K-12 educators, our courses will help your child excel or catch-up in key academic subjects, including writing and math.
Virtual classes are one-hour long synchronous instructional sessions conducted through a secured Learning Management Classroom. Below you will find course descriptions of all of our academic offerings. You can view program dates and costs on our Fees & Schedule page.

Early Writer’s Workshop for Grades 3-4
In this course, emphasis will be placed on the writing process—paragraph and sentence structure, descriptive words and phrases for effect, and punctuation and grammar.
Students will explore the various types of writing styles including narrative, informational, and opinion text.

Writing Academy for Grades 5-6
In this course, emphasis will be placed on the writing process—drafting and editing for consistency in style and tone and improved expression.
Students will explore the various types of writing styles including opinion, narrative, and explanatory.

Middle School Writing Workshop for Grades 7-8
This class prepares your child to write at a high school level by developing their writing process. The course covers:
- Prewriting and brainstorming techniques.
- Drafting and editing.
- Writing in a variety of formats, including biographical and expository.

Brush Up on Your Math for Grades 3-4
In this course, students will learn concepts to build upon their knowledge and strengthen their math skills.
Concepts that will be covered in this course are: multiplication and division equations, place value, round numbers, decimals, fractions, and measurement including area and perimeter.

Brush Up on Your Math for Grades 5-6
In this course, students will learn concepts to build upon their knowledge and strengthen their math skills.
Concepts that will be covered in this course are: algebraic equations, decimals, fractions, general coordinates, real-world mathematical problems involving surface area and volume, and basic statistics.

Pre-Algebra Basics for Grades 6-8
This course introduces your child to pre-algebra basics in preparation for math at the junior high school level. Students will:
- Review elementary mathematics and principles.
- Learn signed numbers, and beginning rules for algebraic evaluations and equations.

Algebra I Problem Solving for Grades 7-10
By providing a foundation in problem solving strategies, this class prepares your child for Algebra I. The course covers:
- Variables and algebra equations, and using formulas to solve equations.
- Real numbers, integers and consecutive integer problems.
- Evaluating expressions, and solving equalities and inequalities.

Science for Grades 3-4
This science course offers lessons and activities on a variety of topics which include Physical Science; Life Science; and Earth Science.
Concepts that will be covered in this course are biodiversity, conservation, life cycles, and ecosystems.

This science course offers lessons and activities on a variety of topics which include Physical Science; Life Science; and Earth Science.
