The Accelerated M.S. in Applied Computer Science (AMACS) program
comprises of 10 courses in three categories, foundation, applications and
capstone experience. The program is in the cohort format, with students
following the same class schedule throughout.

Tuition is for the entire program, with a portion payable each term.
Textbooks, campus fees, parking and other instructional materials must be
purchased separately.

AMACS is a full-time, graduate-degree program on our main campus in Fullerton, which is located in Southern California, home to some of the largest and most successful technology companies in the world. The program supports working professionals with evening classes and one online course each term for added flexibility.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related major along with equivalent
    professional experience.
  • Additional introductory courses in computer programming, if undergraduate degree is other
    than computer science.
  • TOEFL: a minimum score of 550 (paper) or 80 (iBT) or 6.5 Academic IELTS or 58 PTE or 125
    Duolingo (international students only). English proficiency results submitted CANNOT be older
    than two years prior to the desired enrollment date.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 from domestic (U.S.) institutions or ABET-accredited international
    institutions with undergraduate degrees in computer science or closely related fields.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 from non-ABET accredited international institutions with undergraduate
    degrees in computer science or closely related fields.
