The AMSE program comprises four semesters and 10 courses,
culminating in a semester-long capstone project. The program is offered in the cohort format, with students following the same class schedule throughout.


Tuition is $30,000 for the entire program, with a portion payable each term. Textbooks, campus fees, parking and other instructional materials
must be purchased separately.

AMSE is a full-time, graduate-degree program on our main campus in Fullerton, which is located in Southern California, home to some of the largest and most successful technology companies in the world. The program supports working professionals with evening classes and one online course each term for added flexibility.

Expanding on this success, the Accelerated M.S. in Software Engineering has been developed as an on-campus option that can be completed in 16 months.

Students in the program are eligible for Curricular Practical Training, and graduadtes are eligble for up to 36 months of Optional Practicial Training.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or other majors along with equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 for the last 60 semester units.
  • Prerequisite course: CPSC 362 Foundations of Software Engineering or equivalent professional expereince or independent studies.
  • TOEFL: a minimum score of 80 (iBT) or 6.5 Academics IELTS or 58 PTE or 125 Duolingo (international students only) - English profieciency results submitted CANNOT be older than two years prior to the desired enrollment date.
