Our online program allows you to complete induction around your schedule. The Traditional Program is completed in two years by taking one course per semester in the order listed above. Exceptional candidates may qualify for the 1-year Early Completion Option by meeting eligibility requirements and demonstrating your teaching proficiency.

Participants will benefit from onsite face-to-face support of a fellow teacher at your school site who will serve as your Mentor, as well as opportunities to interact online with your cohort throughout the program

Clear your credential with an entirely online program

The CSUF Teacher Induction program is an individualized, job-embedded program that focuses on mentoring, support and professional learning that begins in a teacher’s first year of teaching. It is designed to meet the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing requirements for earning a Clear Multiple Subject, Single Subject or Educational Specialist Credential. Traditional Program

Year 1, Fall Semester: EDTI 502E (3 units)

Valid California SB 2042 Multiple, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Preliminary Credential and admission into the Traditional Induction Program

Year 1, Spring Semester: EDTI 502F (2 units)

Prerequisite: EDTI 502E

Year 2, Fall Semester: EDTI 502G (2 units)

Prerequisite: EDTI 502F

Year 2, Spring Semester: EDTI 502H (2 units)

Prerequisite: EDTI 502G

Early Completion Option

Summer Semester: EDTI 502A (1 unit)
