Admission requirements
To enter the Accelerated M.S. in Applied Computer Science program, you must have completed the following requirements. If you have any questions, please contact us and a staff member will get back to you soon.
Minimum Requirements for Admission
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 for applicants graduated from domestic (U.S.) institutions or ABET-accredited international institutions with undergraduate degrees in computer science or closely related fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 for applicants graduated from non-ABET accredited international institutions with undergraduate degrees in computer science or closely related fields
- TOEFL (international applicants only): a minimum score of 80 (iBT); or 6.5 Academic IELTS; or 58 PTE; or 125 Duolingo is required.
- GRE not required.
- Applicants without an undergraduate degree in computer science or a closely related field may be considered for admission based on their qualifications equivalent to the required prerequisites or work experience. The program seeks highly motivated and qualified students. Students are strongly encouraged to submit a resume about prior work experience and computer science coursework to assess the level of their qualifications.
