Course Number: SHSS 5092 (1.60 CEUs/16 Hours)
Learn how to collect and analyze data associated with "victimless" crimes, or crimes against society. These include organized crime, drug and narcotics smuggling and sales, child pornography rings, commercialized prostitution, gambling operations, money laundering schemes and similar criminal acts. Learn how to recognize and identify organized crime activities, develop information sources, and be familiar with the ethical and legal requirements attached to the use of intelligence information.
