Course Number: SHSS 3224 (3.20 CEUs/32 Hours)
This course is designed to acquaint students with the basic research and statistical principles used in crime analysis. Students learn the concepts involved in research design, content analysis, sampling, forecasting, survey techniques and statistical methods. Students also learn how to conduct research and write their conclusions using commonly accepted research standards, and to prepare law enforcement study and administrative documents.
