Clear Education Specialist Credential
Have a Preliminary Education Specialist Credential or a Level I Education Specialist Credential?
The Clear Education Specialist Credential (CESC) Program from Cal State Fullerton is a fully online program that helps you meet required California credentialing standards.
But this program isn’t just designed to help you meet state standards; it’s also an effective way for dedicated educators like you to advance their career.
There are two ways to obtain your Clear Education Specialist Credential at California State University, Fullerton:
Pathway #1: If you are not seeking a master’s degree, take your courses through Extension and International Programs at CSUF. There’s no application process — simply register for one of the three Program Specific Required Courses and all three of the Required Core Courses. (Four courses total.)
If you hold a Level I Credential, you will need to take SPED 496 in addition to your Program Specific Required Course and Required Core Courses. (Five courses total.)
Pathway #2: If you are seeking a master’s degree, complete your Clear Credential through the College of Special Education.
Due to state and federal regulations, non-California residents may only enroll in CSUF online courses when their state has authorized CSUF as a provider. Click here for more information.
