Basics of Association Management I

Course Information

Whether you have been in the industry for several years, or are a new community manager, it is essential to have command of the language of the associations as well as a broad understanding of the industry. In the first portion of a two-part, scenario and question-based course, participants will acquire the critical knowledge to effectively manage a common interest development (CID) in the state of California. The course will cover the history and future of HOAs, legal and compliance requirements, the role of a community manager, governance requirements, defining and enforcing community rules.
