Winter Session

California State University, Fullerton

Winter Session provides an opportunity to complete coursework at an accelerated pace in 3 to 5 weeks. You are able to intensify your focus in one course. Be sure to register early to secure your seat in the class. Please refer to important dates and deadlines below.

Saturday, December 19, 2026 – Friday, January 22, 2027

In-Person and online synchronous classes will not meet Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, January 1.  In-Person, hybrid or online classes may include online instruction and online activities during the winter break.

Monday, January 4, 2027 – Friday. January 22, 2027

Campus Closed: Friday, December 25, 2026 through Friday, January 1, 2027

Monday, September 28, 2026 Class Schedule and Registration Guide available on Titan Online
Monday, October 12, 2026 Registration begins for CSUF students on Titan Online by appointment
  • 8 a.m.: Spring 2027 graduation candidates
  • Noon: Seniors
Wednesday, October 14, 2026 Registration opens for all other CSUF students at 8 a.m.

Request For Excess Unit Form Available 
-A maximum of 4-units may be taken during the entire winter session term unless requested and approved.

Enrollment from Waitlist Ends
-Last day students can add themselves to a waitlist.
-Last night auto-enrollment from waitlists.

-Last day of Early Registration.
-Last day to register/add without an electronic permit or late fee.
-Last day to drop and receive full refund less $5 processing fee of Winter Session & mandatory fees.

Titan Online Available to Students for Dropping and Adding
-Late Registration (with $25 late fee) begins.
-Electronic permit from academic department required to add all classes.

 Saturday, December 19, 2026 Monday, January 7, 2027

Titan Online Available to Students for Adding
-Last day to register/add with a $25 late fee (per transaction) and an electronic permit.

 Wednesday, December 23, 2026 Wednesday, January 6, 2027

Titan Online Available to Students for Dropping
-Last day to drop a class without a grade of "W" and receive a 65% refund.
-Last day to change Grade Option.

Titan Online Not Available
-Last day to withdraw with a grade of "W" and receive a 65% refund of Winter Session class fees.
Electronic Request for Withdrawal Petition required
No refunds after this date.
$5 refund processing fee per transaction.

Titan Online Not Available
-Last day to withdraw with a grade of "W" for serious non-medical and medical reasons only.
Electronic Request for Withdrawal Petition required.
Must be a date on which CSUF is open.
