Course Number: SECS 7181 (0.8 CEUs/8 Hours)
This capstone class is conducted in a group environment allowing individuals hands-on experience through the use of simulated-live compromised system images in demonstrating the various components inherent in forensic investigations. Individuals will also be taught basic terminology, technology and methodology for mobile forensics so they can better understand the growth of mobile forensics in the 21st century. Mobile forensics will be melded into the overall course methodology and incorporated into the hands on aspect of the class. Students will have an opportunity to create complete forensic examination case notes and an analytical report using the tools provided throughout the program.
