State Regulation

Educational institutions are now required to be authorized to offer online courses/degrees to students who reside in states other than their own. This authorization comes from each state. As a result, non-California residents may only enroll in CSUF online courses when their state has authorized our university as a provider. If you reside in one of the states listed below, you may enroll in our non-credit online courses and certificates.

If you currently reside outside of the United States and its territories, this does not apply.

Additional restrictions may apply to certain courses or programs. These restrictions are indicated by the footnote next to the state’s name. Please take note as they may be applicable to you.
