Gain valuable hands-on work experience and develop marketable skills in an optional 100-hour supervised practicum in a law enforcement crime and/or intelligence unit. Completion of the practicum is not required to qualify for a certificate. Register for the practicum in the semester you anticipate completing your hours. Previous or current work experience in a law enforcement agency that can be verified by a current or previous supervisor may be acceptable to meet the practicum requirement.
Once you have successfully completed your 100 hour internship, please send a letter from your employer/supervisor detailing your internship/work experience (duration, tasks/responsibilities, units/professionals you worked with, etc.) to our Crime Intel Support Team at crimeintel@fullerton.edu.
We will review your letter and let you know whether the hours submitted qualify for the internship. If it is determined that you have successfully completed the 100-hour optional internship, our Crime Intel Support Team will send you a link to register for this course. The fee for this practicum course is $65.
