Summer Session is an accelerated term offered by CSUF. It lets currently admitted CSUF students earn academic credit during the summer break.
- Current CSUF students may enroll through Titan Online during their registration appointment.
- Non-CSUF students (or students not currently admitted) may enroll via CSUF Open University.
- Some admitted but not yet enrolled transfer students may enroll via CSUF Open University.
Summer Session offers 5- to 10-week course options in on-campus, online, or hybrid formats.
There are five accelerated sessions (5–10 weeks) that usually run between May and July/August.

- Non-CSUF students: Enroll via CSUF Open University process following the Winter Session enrollment instructions.
Fees vary depending on the number of units, student status (resident vs. non-resident), and session length.

Yes. You can enroll in summer courses at CSUF through Open University, even if you are not currently admitted as a degree-seeking CSUF student.
Yes — Summer Session students can earn credit while studying abroad and stay on track for graduation.
