Admission requirements
The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities & Social Sciences Online Degree Completion program requires you to have 69 transferable semester units from one or more universities, community colleges, or other regionally-accredited institutions. These transferable units must fulfill the lower-division general education requirements. If you have fewer than 69 units, you can still be conditionally admitted into the program.
The online degree-completion program comprises 51 semester units (17 courses), bringing you to the total 120 units required to be eligible for graduation.
"All admissions requirements should be completed by end of Spring 2024 for Fall 2024 start. No Summer 2024 courses will be considered for eligibility."

Transferable Credits
To see whether or not courses from your community college will transfer to Cal State Fullerton, you can use ASSIST, a database that houses the transfer agreements between all California community colleges and California public universities. You may also contact the CSUF Transfer Center or your community college’s counseling center for assistance.
Conditional Admission
In some cases, you may still be conditionally admitted to the program even if you do not meet the minimum unit requirement of 69 transferable units. Being conditionally admitted allows you to start in the fall, but requires you to complete missing coursework concurrently at another college or university in your area (some of these courses may be available online at Cal State Fullerton).
Out-of-State Applicants
If you are not a California resident, please view the state regulation page to verify your eligibility for enrollment. You may also contact the advising and counseling center at your community college for assistance. Note: these out-of-state regulations do not apply to those living outside the United States and its territories.
